Didier and Calu will be your allies of all moments, and they will support you at all times, they will take you to the best spots from where you will bring your best memories.

WHAT DO WE CATCH?

With statistics of 350 days of sunny skies a year and constant NE prevailing winds of 15/20 knots, Cape Verde is a paradisiac archipelago where sub-marine mountains have been discovered by Marlins well before men did.

The channel between São Vicente and Santo Antão is a marlin spot well known by international anglers. This São Pedro spot, protected from the trade winds, has given to the Cape Verde Islands their reputation, with an average of 400 to 700 lbs catches, and more than a few Granders.

The season usually starts in March and ends around October/November, with some empty periods due to the temperature variations.

Remember that fishing or not, you are sure of best things in life: sunny skies, 70°F at night and 85°F day time, dry weather, no bugs of any kind, political stability, low cost of living, good restaurants, no religious fanaticism and… on top of everything the only surrounding country all around is the sea.

Other species like Wahoo (locally called "Serra" and plentiful all year long) or yellow fin tunas, dorados and sharks ("atum") are to be found.

When drifting or bottom fishing, you will be able to catch many sorts of groupers ("garoupa"), jacks ("esmoregal"), or even dorados or sharks.

Big game and light trolling can be done all year long, keeping in mind that December and January can bring some quite rough seas.

You can also go surf casting in many spots, and we can take you there and, if needed, we can provide an experienced fishing guide.
