On June 11th, Mister Bidault with his wife on the Bertram.
A lot of wind, but the Bertram goes out. Early in the afternoon a contact of marlin, a small one fished and released 120 kg. 20 minutes later a yellowfin, 40 kg. The customers are satisfied.

On June 6th, Dustin Foo and his brother, accustom and lovers of fishing (Dustin makes his own lures).
For five fishing days only two marlins fished and released, a big one of 320 kg and one of 150 kg. A little disappointment, but they know well the fishing, sometimes it doesn’t work, not a good week.

In June 4th Walter and Fabio (big cook, he prepared twice excellent Italian meal).
First fishing day a marlin 150 kg and a yellowfin 60 kg.
Second day 1 marlin fished and released 300 kg, with 3 contacts at the same time, a little panic.
The third day 2 contacts, one marlin fished and released 140 kg.
The fourth day 1 contact, no marlin fished.
The fifth day 2 contacts, one marlin fished and released 150 kg.
The sixth day 2 contacts, one marlin fished and released 120 kg.

In May 30th, Hans Ljunberg and Ulf Krabisch, (two Swedish guy very dynamic, Ulf also cook, we have eaten very well).
1st day 1 marlin 100 kg, just a single contact.
The second day 2 marlins fished and released 130 and 180 kg, for 4 contacts.
The third day only two contacts, nothing more.
The fourth day 3 contacts 1 marlin of 120 kg.
The fifth day a wahoo and a single contact of marlin.

In May 26th, Meakin Mickael, Antony Foulkes and Mallcom Mountford, three fishermen, nice people.
1st day 3 contacts 1 marlin 140 kg.
Second day 2 contacts 2 marlins fished and released 170 and 170 kg.
Third day 3 contacts 2 marlins fished and released 180 and 150 kg.
Fourth day 3 contacts 1 marlin fished 140 kg and a wahoo.
They will return next year.

May 21st, Kaisa Siren ( two fishermen) with the Pace. The fish is at S.Pedro. In that day 3 contacts for a marlin fished and released (200 kg)
The second day a 140 kg marlin, for 3 contacts.
The third day 5 contacts for 3 marlins fished and released 170/180 and 130 kg.
The fourth day 2 contacts of marlin but only one wahoo fished.
The fifth day 4 contacts two marlins fished and released 130 and 100 kg.

May 20th, the beginning of the fishing for 5 Spanish friends, Bravo Ruben, Luis Sabariz, Francisco Otero, Manuel Ramos and Barron Inigo.
Specialists of the JIG, regrettably we have too much wind to start the JIG. The first two days at Sao Pedro, all in all 4 contacts for 2 marlins fished and released 150 and 200 kg.
The third day, direction Santo Antao, three contacts of marlins, and a big marlin caught weight 350 kg, then a stop at Franck’s hotel in Tarrafal.
The fourth day, direction to the bench of the NW for the JIG, the customers are delighted; amberjack (30 to 40 kg), wahoo and grouper are fished. And in more to satisfy the team one marlin caught on the road. Return to Tarrafal.
The fifth day, return to the bench of the NW, the same fishing, the customers are happy, the JIG is good.
Sixth day, a problem with the battery, the boat Pace comes to help us at Tarrafal, and the Bertram returns to Mindelo, no fishing.

May 14th, first fishing day at Sao Pedro, one contact for both boats.
May 15th, direction Santo Antao, for the Pace a big marlin fished and released 380 kg in front of Tarrafal, for the Bertram another very big fish 400 kg (850 pounds).
May 16th, the Bertram stays at Santo Antao, two contacts, and another big marlin 300 kg, very beautiful fights.
The Pace direction the bench of NW, 5 contacts for 3 marlins caught and released, 150, 200 and 150 kg.
May 17th, the Bertram always at Santo Antao, two contacts, and one marlin fished and released 220 kg.
The Pace in the Bench of the NW, 4 contacts, 1 marlin fished and released 140 kg.
May 18th, the Bertram is at Santo Antao and in the channel towards Mindelo, 2 contacts, 1 marlin fished and released 150 kg. The Pace is also at Santo Antao and in the channel, 2 contacts, 1 marlin tired and after dead, weight 350 kg, brought later to the port.
May 19th, the Bertram is at Sao Pedro, nothing, no contact. The Pace, two contacts at the same time, two fishes caught and released, 140 kg and 120 kg.
Soon many photos available on our Web site. Satisfied customers. This year the fishing went better for them than last year.
Total 4 marlins for the Bertram and 8 marlins for the Pace. To this let’s add some wahoos and one dorade coryphene.
